Yeah,well I know i got sent back Well I really put all my time,soul,hard work in to an application piece..Well I just thought this might change a few minds ;p. Well its a work in progress.Worked on it for almost 3days. The concept is : A kid is transported to the future suddenly and he steps out and realzies how much things have changed.I've tried to capture his expression. This piece is called Evolving.Still A WIP I put all my work into this  ..still a wip. Whatcha think? better than my other pieces?imprvin? inspired by anthony-g A big thanks to 1.Anthony-g 2.Weezygod 3.Amelia 4.Skbringdeath. Changed nay minds? :P |

Blending really really needs to be improved from the buildings and the kids. And it looks like the kids are missing their feet? Or did you do this on purpose? Perhaps you could blend the pants then more in the snow. Also the snowman and some other parts aren't rendered well, you can still see some white of the background here and there. I recommend you to use ''Alpha channels'': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj-SjDE1ldg&feature=related to render difficult stuff (you can also download Adobe Photoshop CS5 and rendering is very easy in the new version with just a few clicks). Also the format is a bit weird and with that the perspective. The penguin is bigger than the kid? I would remove the cloud on the right side, looks out of the place and especially because it has a pink/purple colour. My advice is to download high quality images. They're so important... 1 not high quality stock in your work can bring the whole piece down a lot. download them on istockphoto or crestock.com (you don't need to have a creditcard for most of the stocks with this site. You pay with paypal). I know they cost money... but it's important when you want to grow in manipulating. It's hard to find high quality stocks that are free. Hey  Yes,theyre feet are under the snow.This was done to show that the snow is deep there.the snow man was painted with a reference btw.I dunno probably some other thing.And the kid is really young,I think adult penguins are bigger than kids.lol.I think.And everyone I've showed it to has told me about the pink/purple thing.Its just shown as blue in my monitor o_O Yeah I think the boat image in this one is pretty LQ.I usually get mine from sxc or dA.Yes I have some problems with blwending..Help would be REALLY appreciated Thanks A TON for the feedback. This is one of the main reasons why I want to join an art group.As I said its a wip. Will work on it Hope I get posiive results ;p Hey jdeniz,you have msn? |

Hey sorry for the double post ! Well I made lots of updates in this piece.Reduced the white, reduced the pink a little thanks to anthony-g added trees,posts,ropes,moar polar bears, somw water.Made the polar big,penguin small.kid small, Painted over the Lq parts.so it looks pretty hq now I think..I dunno if this is done.Going to leave it out for a few days.Critique is really appreciated. I also tried to bring in some flow.from the polar bear to the polar bear in the water.Also took out the snow path which was looking LQ.I tried to bring an overall nice flow.lol..  Any better? Thanks a lot for the support again guyz ;p |

comparing the first and this one, it's improved a bit in contrast and i've seen you've moved a couple things around. it's quite hard to criticize because there's not much changed since the last one to be able to point out differently. Quality wise, I wouldn't say it's best for art packs. I just think it's a hard task for you to be working with snow. its hard to achieve natural effect. --- Founder of DF Online Portfolio |

Yeah I agree DG,Yeah I've kept the piece aside for a few days to see what I can do.And Yes its not that great quality wise.I think I learnt a fw pointers on quality on blending from jdeniz .Thanks alot sis Well some more views of other artists will be greatly appreciated :P |
