 Latest shoot ^^ Well, I am really unsure of how I stumbled upon this website, but I am glad I did  . A little about my self and what I do.. My name is Nicholas, but you guys/girls can call me Nic. I got into the creative scene around sophomore year of highschool starting out with very basic web/html programming(notepad!). Later I moved on to photoshop and dreamweaver. At the same time I was taking a film photography class and we hit it off really well. I began to develop a strong bond with art and the creation process shortly after highschool. I attended my local college and took some digital imaging and digital photography classes. It was during these classes that I really felt my passion and drive for creation! About 6 months later I enrolled in a Graphic Design program and loved every minute of it. I remember as the program was ending students were looking for jobs in their respective field. One day I heard a girl talking about how she had a job interview for a stock exchange company but did not want the job. My jaw dropped and I immediately asked her everything about it, and kept asking her if she was sure about her choice. So I prepare a nice cover letter and send off my resume to the company. One week later I was called and came in for an interview twice, and got the job! This was only my first job. Due to the company being a startup I was only employed for about 2 months. Then I took a break and got my other job about 6 months later(which is my current one). Just thought I'd share a tip or two about this field. And my tip is to GO GET IT, because if you don't someone else will! Also if you are doing freelance gigs, please ask for at least 50% up front. I can't stress that enough  I haven't been as active lately in creating art, but have been itching to get back to it! Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed my story and I welcome your comments / questions /suggestions Thanks for your time and I can't wait to contribute to this awesome site! Hey Nic, I certainly agree with your point. you have to go all the way for it or at least do what you have to do to get your foot in the door.
