Brian Sebastian

Plan-B
Interviewed by Kofi Ansah

Kofi Ansah
How do you feel about this feature?

Brian Sebastian
I feel very happy and fortunate to get this feature! Thank you admins, for featuring me.

Kofi Ansah
You are doing digital art for about 1 year now, how and why did you start with it?

Brian Sebastian
Well, I started digital art, mainly designing signatures as that was the new hype in a forum I use to be a part of. I then learnt about large art, and I really admired the creativity, styles and concepts behind many of the pieces I saw. I don't exactly know why, but I was just inspired to design and create. I guess it's really addictive.

Kofi Ansah
What inspires you the most?

Brian Sebastian
Many things inspire me, but I am mainly inspired by the art I see online. I also find that T.V. and video games prevent me from being inspired.

Kofi Ansah
How do you approach your work?

Brian Sebastian
Hmm, I start of first, developing an idea/concept of what I would like to create. I then mainly browse the web, looking a various styles, designs, ideas and concepts to get inspired. Next, I develop a color scheme or palette, which somehow normally ends up as CMYK stuff unfortunately. Then at the end, I mix all that together to get my end results.

Kofi Ansah
Your style is very colorful and fresh. I think I am right when I affirm that your works reflect your personality?

Brian Sebastian
Haha, thank you. I would like to think it reflects me, being fresh sounds cool. However, I think it's only half true, that is because I can be rather shy to people I don't know, making me really boring and dull.

Kofi Ansah
How do you think digital art will look like in 10 years time?

Brian Sebastian
I honestly think there will be a lot more modern/sci-fi, 3D and graffiti style designs/art coming out. Though all the current styles we have now won't be phased out, or atleast I hope not.

Kofi Ansah
What do you think of our 2nd Exhibition? Do you think it's an improvement to our first?

Brian Sebastian
I think our 2nd Exhibition is awesome! We had a great theme, and it was really fun to work ideas around it. All the pieces for the pack are of really high standards too. I also think it's an improvement to our first, as we had some new designers come in and we are all improving individually too.

Kofi Ansah
DigitalFlow is still a pretty new art group. How do you feel being an artist of DF?

Brian Sebastian
I am more then delighted to be a part of it. The members and admins here are friendly, dedicated and very talented. It is great to talk and design with the DF Family.

Kofi Ansah
How does your life look like besides digital art?

Brian Sebastian
I would say my like looks great. Everything is going well for me, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Kofi Ansah
Anything else you want to say?

Brian Sebastian
I think that's abou tit, just want to say thanks again for the feature.
